Initially set to expire on April 30, 2029, the lease will now terminate early, contingent upon the possession of new premises under the Kendall Square Lease being tendered by an affiliate of the landlord. This strategic move is part of Relay's plan to relocate to Kendall Square, where they will lease 12,190 square feet of office space, resulting in a substantial reduction of approximately $16 million in rent expenses over the lease term. The transition involves a relocation payment of $3.5 million and the transfer of certain assets to the landlord. The company continues to operate its corporate headquarters at 60 Hampshire Street, Cambridge.
