Aon plc has appointed Dan Hartung as the global head of event response for Risk Capital. Hartung, with nearly 15 years of experience in meteorology and catastrophe analytics, will lead Aon's event response team, enhancing the firm's capabilities to provide actionable insights for insurer clients before, during, and after natural disasters. He will also work on delivering real-time insights to commercial risk clients and collaborate on a new event analytics platform set to launch later this year. Hartung will remain based in Baltimore.
