CapitaLand Ascendas REIT (SGX:A17U) issued 202,430,000 new units at SG$2.470 per unit under a private placement, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Friday.

Trading on the new units commenced June 6, the filing said.

The trust raised around SG$500 million in gross proceeds from the placement and has utilized SG$5 million from the proceeds to pay the fees and expenses in relation to the placement.
