Giftify (GIFT) said Thursday it has acquired TakeOut7, a restaurant technology company, in an all-stock deal valued at 350,000 shares of the company's common shares.
The acquisition brings TakeOut7's online ordering platform and its AI-powered digital marketing service, Platr, under the Giftify umbrella, and expands Giftify's reach to more than 185,000 restaurants in the US, the company said.
Giftify said it expects an immediate positive contribution from the transaction to its financial performance upon integration.
Shares of Giftify were down about 3% in recent Thursday trading.
