A consortium of Doosan Enerbility (KRX:034020) and Vietnam's Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (PECC2) was selected as the engineering, procurement, and construction contractor for the O Mon IV Thermal Power Plant project after global competitive bidding.
The O Mon IV Thermal Power Plant project will boost power supply in southern Vietnam, support the national grid, and advance the country's energy transition goals, PECC2 said in a Sunday release.
Shares of the South Korean heavy industrial company rose more than 1% in recent trade on Tuesday.
