Newsmax Inc. has announced a significant increase in viewership for its free streaming channel, Newsmax2, which saw a 25% growth in total viewership year-over-year for May. More than 21.5 million cumulative viewers tuned into Newsmax2, according to data from OTT platforms' internal dashboards. Additionally, viewers are spending more time watching the channel, with average time spent up 36% compared to May 2024. Newsmax2 is available on over a dozen major OTT Fast platforms and digital broadcast channels, as well as on the Newsmax App for smartphones and televisions. The channel is also broadcast on terrestrial digital channels across more than 47 television markets, including major U.S. markets such as Atlanta, San Francisco, Houston, and Philadelphia. Newsmax CEO Christopher Ruddy highlighted the success of their strategy in offering both free and paid channels, indicating an expectation of continued growth.
