Jacobs Solutions Inc. has been selected by the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) to provide engineering and advisory services for the Grand Coulee Modernization Program. This initiative is focused on enhancing the reliability, efficiency, and longevity of the transmission and distribution infrastructure supporting the largest power-generating dam in the U.S. The program aims to ensure resilient and cost-effective power solutions across the Pacific Northwest. Jacobs' involvement underscores its commitment to modernizing utility infrastructure and strategically positioning BPA to meet future load demands. The Grand Coulee Dam currently has a capacity of over 7,000 megawatts, and this modernization will help preserve infrastructure and allow for flexible power generation in response to grid demand.
