During the California Riots, Musk Frequently Reaches Out to the Trump Camp

BlockBeats News, June 10th, Over the weekend, Musk deleted several of his most incendiary posts on X platform targeting Trump, including calling for Trump's impeachment and baselessly claiming that Trump's name appeared in the crime-related documents of sex offender and financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Musk seems to wholeheartedly support the Trump administration's stance on the situation in Los Angeles, as he added an American flag emoji under a post by Vice President J.D. Vance stating that "the president will not tolerate chaos and violence." Musk has long supported border closure, halting illegal immigration, and deportation, aligning with the Trump administration's position.

Musk also retweeted a screenshot of Trump's post on Truth Social, in which it was stated that California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass "should apologize to the people of Los Angeles" — at a time of ongoing local conflicts, with cars being set on fire and protests escalating.

He also commented "cool" under a video of Vance being interviewed, where Vance said he believes that "if Elon calms down a bit, everything will be okay."

Furthermore, Tesla's CEO re-followed White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller — who is seen as one of the key figures in the Trump administration's immigration policy, Musk had unfollowed Miller last Thursday during a clash with Trump.

However, this does not mean Musk has once again fully embraced a positive attitude towards the Trump administration this week. He continues to oppose Trump's domestic policy bills (in a more subtle way), which have passed the House of Representatives and are currently under Senate review.

Wade Bush analyst Dan Ives commented, "Ultimately, Trump needs Musk to stay in the Republican camp, and Musk has many reasons to need Trump, including giving the green light to the federal autonomous driving framework." (Golden Finance)
