DevvStream Corp., a leading carbon management firm, has announced two new memoranda of understanding (MoUs) in Indonesia, marking a significant expansion of its environmental asset program in Asia. The agreements are with PT Tren Solusi Transformasi Indonesia and PT Kartika Satu Graha Mandiri, both focusing on waste-to-energy (WtE) projects. These initiatives aim to convert municipal and landfill waste into grid-connected renewable power in West Java and Depok City, respectively. Through these partnerships, DevvStream plans to structure, certify, and market International Renewable Energy Certificates (I-RECs) and verified carbon credits, potentially creating new revenue streams. These projects will complement the company's existing hydroelectric agreement in South Sulawesi and solar energy collaboration in the Philippines, further diversifying its portfolio across ASEAN. As the Southeast Asia WtE sector is projected to grow significantly, these MoUs position DevvStream to address the region's waste and power challenges effectively.
