European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts rose Tuesday morning with the S&P Europe Select ADR Index up 0.6% to 1,491.03.
From continental Europe, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical firm DBV Technologies (DBVT) and energy company Equinor (EQNR), which rose 6.6% and 2.3% respectively.
They were followed by energy firm Eni (E), up 1.8%.
The decliners from continental Europe were led byclinical-stage pharmaceutical company Addex Therapeutics (ADXN) and cybersecurity firm Wisekey (WKEY), which fell 13% and 5.4% respectively.
They were followed by medical device company Edap (EDAP), down 3.3%.
From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by software development company Endava (DAVA) and biotech company Bicycle Therapeutics (BCYC), which rose 4.2% and 3.4% respectively.
The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by bitcoin mining company Argo Blockchain (ARBK) and financial institution Barclays (BCS), which lost 4.3% and 2.5% respectively.
