IonQ (IONQ) said Monday that its collaborative research with AstraZeneca (AZN), Amazon's (AMZN) AWS, and Nvidia (NVDA) achieved a 20 times speedup in quantum-classical computational chemistry simulations compared with prior demonstrations.
The project integrated IonQ's Forte quantum processor with Nvidia's CUDA-Q platform and AWS's Braket and ParallelCluster services. Designed to advance early-stage pharmaceutical development, the workflow cut computational runtimes from months to days while maintaining accuracy.
IonQ said the results will be presented at the ISC High Performance conference from June 10 to June 13 in Hamburg, Germany.
