The GEO Group, Inc. has announced a new contract modification with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement $(ICE)$ to activate a federal immigration processing center at its D. Ray James Facility in Folkston, Georgia. Effective June 6, 2025, this modification under the existing intergovernmental service agreement will enable the 1,868-bed facility to be exclusively used by ICE. This development is expected to generate approximately $66 million in additional annual revenue in its first full year of operation. The GEO Group will provide security, maintenance, food services, and access to recreational, medical, and legal services at the facility. George C. Zoley, Executive Chairman of GEO, emphasized the importance of this facility in supporting federal immigration processing needs and highlighted the company's longstanding partnership with ICE.
