Envoy Medical Inc., a hearing health company specializing in fully implanted hearing devices, announced that its pivotal clinical trial for the fully implanted Acclaim® Cochlear Implant is progressing as planned. All 10 participants in the first stage of the trial have successfully completed their one-month follow-up visits, with investigational sites reporting that the visits are proceeding as expected. The participants are able to hear without externally worn devices, and no serious adverse events have been reported. Envoy Medical is encouraged by the positive momentum and is considering accelerating plans for expansion and commercialization of the device.
