Updates airBaltic, ITA Airways, LOT, Lufthansa Group

June 11 (Reuters) - Global airlines halted flights to and from Tel Aviv after a missile fired by Yemen's Houthi rebels towards Israel on May 4 landed near the country's main international airport, and as Israel continued to carry out strikes across the Gaza Strip.

Some airlines are now resuming flights having previously done so in January after a ceasefire deal between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas that month. Israel then resumed military operations in the enclave in March and stepped them up in May.

Here is the latest situation:

AIRBALTIC

Latvia's airBaltic resumed scheduled flights between Riga and Tel Aviv on June 6.

AIR CANADA AC.TO

The Canadian airline postponed the resumption of service between Canada and Israel until September 8, instead of the originally scheduled June 8.

AIR INDIA

The Indian flag carrier suspended its flights to and from Tel Aviv until June 19.

IAG ICAG.L

IAG-owned British Airways has suspended flights to Tel Aviv until June 14.

IAG's low-cost airline, Iberia Express, has cancelled flights to Tel Aviv until June 30.

ITA AIRWAYS

The Italian carrier is planning to gradually resume operations to Tel Aviv from June 23.

LOT

The Polish airline has suspended flights to Tel Aviv until June 15.

LUFTHANSA GROUP LHAG.DE

The German airline group plans to resume operations to Tel Aviv on June 23.

RYANAIR RYA.I

Europe's biggest budget airline has cancelled flights to and from Tel Aviv until July 31.
