BlockBeats News, June 12, according to official reports, blockchain security infrastructure provider GoPlus Security has officially released GSM (GoPlus Security Module) — the world's first security protection layer that can be natively integrated into blockchain nodes, enabling millisecond-level interception of malicious transactions before they are recorded on-chain. The core innovation of this technology lies in its ability to integrate securely within the execution layer of blockchains, achieving a non-externalized defense mechanism. Specifically, GSM is directly integrated into node clients (e.g., BNBChain), where it scans transactions before they enter the memory pool (mempool), cutting off hacker attack routes at the source.
GoPlus presented trial results conducted on BNBChain, showcasing GSM’s performance through replay testing of 100 real-world attack transactions. GSM achieved:
1. A 97% attack interception rate;
2. <40ms latency (with zero node crashes under thousands of TPS concurrency);
3. Prevention of losses exceeding $22 million.
This technology shifts blockchain security from a "post-incident remediation" approach to a "pre-emptive immunity" paradigm, paving the way for onboarding billions of users. Currently, GoPlus is promoting open ecosystem collaborations across the industry, supporting one-click integration for L1/L2 blockchains, RPC providers, and wallet protocols. Developers can quickly deploy the solution using open-source resources.
