Mukta A2 Cinemas, the exhibition arm of movie production house Mukta Arts (NSE:MUKTAARTS, BOM:532357), has launched a new four-screen multiplex at Vadodara in Gujarat, India, according to a Monday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The new multiplex is the first under the premium format 'Opulence' with a total capacity of 528 seats.

Mukta Arts has control over 100 screens through its subsidiary companies, including Mukta A2 Cinemas, Mukta A2 Multiplex WLL in Bahrain, and its joint ventures.

The company's shares were up over 2% in recent trade.
