Larsen & Toubro (NSE:LT, BOM:500510), through its heavy civil infrastructure (HCI), has bagged a "significant" order from JSW Energy (NSE:JSWENERGY, BOM:533148), according to a Monday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
While the company did not provide the financial details of the deal, it classifies "significant" orders as those between 10 billion Indian rupees and 25 billion rupees.
The contract is for the execution of the Bhavali Pumped Storage Project in Maharashtra, India, with a total installed capacity of 1500MW, comprising various small units in the districts of Nashik and Thane.
The company's shares were up nearly 1% in recent trade.
