1045 ET - Canadian leisure travel company Transat's Pratt & Whitney engine issues are likely going to continue for a couple of years, CFO Jean-Francois Pruneau says on an analyst call. In F2Q, the company recognized C$20 million in revenue from Pratt & Whitney for its grounded aircrafts due to ongoing engine issues. The executive says that the company will continue to receive these revenue contributions which are calculated based on the number of planes grounded multiplied by the days they are grounded. "We don't expect this situation to be settled before 2027," Pruneau says, so Transat expects additional revenue contributions over those next years. (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
