Tower (ASX:TWR, NZE:TWR) appointed Paul Johnston as its permanent chief executive, effective June 11, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.

Johnston joined the company as chief financial officer in 2022 and has been interim CEO since Feb. 12.

The company's Australian shares fell nearly 3% in recent Wednesday trade, while its New Zealand-listed shares tumbled 4%.
