Sarytogan Graphite (ASX:SGA) secured a 10-hectare land plot in Kazakhstan for its planned downstream graphite processing facility, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company's KazGraphite unit won the right to lease the land for five years, with an option to extend for the life of the facility, the filing said.
The facility will purify graphite concentrate into ultra-high purity fines and spherical purified graphite, the filing added.
Shares of the company fell past 5% in recent Monday trade.
