Samsung Electronics (KRX:005930) globally launched its 2025 hotel TV, the HU8000F, with built-in Google Cast, enabling guests to stream personal OTT content by scanning a QR code, the electronics products maker said in a Thursday release.
The TV runs on Tizen 9.0 and supports Prime Video alongside Netflix and Samsung TV Plus. The product, powered by the Crystal Processor 4K, features HDR 10+, dynamic crystal color, and adaptive sound for genre-optimized audio, the release said.
Shares of Samsung Electronics fell nearly 2% in recent trade on Friday.
