Crown Holdings (CCK) said Monday it will promote Djalma Novaes Jr., president of the company's Americas Division, to chief operating officer, effective July 1.

Current COO Gerard Gifford will become chief administrative officer, a role he will hold until his planned retirement early next year, the company said.
