Patronus Resources (ASX:PTN) said that reverse circulation drilling at its Iron King and Cardinia Gold projects in Western Australia has confirmed gold mineralization, according to a June 13 filing with the Australian bourse.

Notable intercepts included 6 meters at 1.7 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 22 meters at the Scallop prospect in Cardinia, and 9 meters at about 1 g/t gold from 87 meters at the Crystal Ridge prospect within Iron King, the filing said.

The Scallop target remains open along strike, enabling further drilling, the filing added.
