Theme International (HKG:0990) agreed to issue a total of 815 million shares to at least six investors to raise net proceeds of HK$407.4 million, a June 13 Hong Kong bourse filing said.

The shares represent 5.7% of the metal distributor's enlarged issued share capital.

The firm will use proceeds from the issue for expansion of its business in Indonesia, acquisition of mining operations and trading and processing of nickel and bauxite, construction of logistics transportation systems and fleets, and general working capital.
