Bunge Global SA has announced an update regarding its business combination transaction involving Glencore, CPPIB, and BCI. On June 13, 2025, Bunge and the sellers received the necessary approvals from the State Administration for Market Regulation of China and the Federal Economic Competition Commission of Mexico, satisfying all antitrust and foreign direct investment conditions for closing. An amendment to the Business Combination Agreement was agreed upon, setting the closing date for July 2, 2025, and extending the outside date to July 3, 2025. Bunge has also agreed to waive certain rights and conditions to facilitate the closing of the transaction.
