Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control has secured a contract from the U.S. Government to produce Generation 4 Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (Gen 4 TADS/PNVS) systems as part of a Foreign Military Sales agreement for the Polish Air Force's acquisition of AH-64E Apache attack helicopters. This marks the first instance where the Common Sensor Electronic Unit and Generation 2 Turret will be standard for these helicopters' sensors. The advanced systems will enhance long-range, precision engagement and pilotage capabilities, supporting missions in various conditions. Lockheed Martin will also collaborate with Poland to establish a Special Repair Activity in Łódź, bolstering the Polish industrial base and ensuring efficient maintenance of the new Apache sensors.
