Shooting at Salt Lake City Protest Leaves One Person Critically Injured

A person was left with life-threatening injuries after a shooting during a demonstration in downtown Salt Lake City, local police said.

Officers heard gunshots at around 7:56 p.m. local time and found a person critically injured. The Salt Lake City Police Department said in a statement in believed four people were involved in the shooting. Police estimated that around 10,000 people participated in marches throughout the city on Saturday.
