AustChina (ASX:AUH) started planning fieldwork for its Mersey project in Tasmania, following the granting of exploration license EL6/2021, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Initial fieldwork will involve data compilation, geological mapping, and surface sampling, as well as an airborne electromagnetic survey to identify massive sulfide targets for potential future drilling, the filing said.
The exploration license is valid until May 18, 2030, according to the filing.
