Far East Orchard (SGX:O10) closed its first private student accommodation development fund in Singapore, the FE UK Student Accommodation Development Fund of 96 million pounds, according to a late Wednesday filing on the Singapore Exchange.
Around 63.5% of the funding was received from institutional investors as the group seeks to build a lodging platform.
Shares of the company were up over 1% in recent trading.
