Oriental Enterprise Holdings Ltd. announced its annual results for the year ended 31 March 2025. The Group reported a significant decline in its media business revenue, which fell by approximately HK$63.742 million, or 11%, compared to the same period last year. Specifically, the publication and advertising income of "Oriental Daily News" decreased by approximately HK$45.796 million, or 10%, reaching HK$419.017 million. Additionally, revenue from the digital media business dropped by approximately HK$17.946 million, or 18%, to HK$81.417 million. The cost of raw materials for print media saw a reduction of approximately HK$22.179 million, or 25%, compared to the previous year. The Group's total comprehensive income for the year was HK$33.095 million, down from HK$64.585 million in the prior year. Profit attributable to owners of the Company decreased to HK$52.434 million from HK$75.096 million, while earnings per share were reported at HK2.19 cents, down from HK3.13 cents in the previous period. The results highlight the challenging operating environment faced by the Group's media business during the reporting period.
