0355 GMT - Nomura is sticking with its out-of-consensus view that the RBNZ will deliver a 25bp interest rate cut on July 9, but admits it is a close call, assigning an approximate 60% probability to a July cut. Nomura economist Andrew Ticehurst says he expects a July cut to come with relatively hawkish communication, signalling the bank is moving to the sidelines and may well have completed its easing cycle, following what would be an aggressive 250bp of easing, and which would take the cash rate to a neutral 3.00%.
