Encounter Resources (ASX:ENR) started air-core drilling on shallow, high-priority targets defined from geophysical datasets at the Aileron project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

First assay results are anticipated in July, with a steady flow expected throughout the year, the filing said.

An airborne electromagnetic survey is also set for next month to identify conductive basement features and uncover additional targets, per the filing.
