EHang Holdings Ltd., a leader in Urban Air Mobility technology, has announced a strategic partnership with the Management Committee of Jingyue High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Changchun, Jilin Province. The collaboration aims to create a provincial-level demonstration zone for low-altitude economic development, focusing on industrial growth, technological innovation, and practical applications. As part of this agreement, Jilin Aerospace Industry Development Investment Co., Ltd. will order 41 units of EHang's EH216-S pilotless eVTOLs. These units will be utilized for low-altitude sightseeing, urban emergency response, and city traffic management, supporting Changchun's ambition to lead in low-altitude economic growth. Furthermore, EHang will collaborate with Jingyue Hi-tech Zone to advance the research and production of composite materials and eVTOL components, leveraging the zone's manufacturing expertise. This partnership aims to accelerate the commercialization of low-altitude applications and enhance regional development.
