Vection Technologies (ASX:VR1) signed a AU$520,000 strategic development agreement with Rider, part of the Procmatech Group, to co-develop the ACRobot modular robotics platform for open-field agriculture, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

Vection will deliver a full artificial intelligence technology stack, including machine learning, real-time image recognition, sensor data processing, and autonomous field operations. Meanwhile, Rider will design and build a modular robotic system.

Work under the agreement will begin immediately, and revenue from it is expected to be recognized in the first half of fiscal year 2026.

Its shares rose 5% in recent trading on Tuesday.
