Cullen Resources (ASX:CUL) said significant gold intercepts were recognized in the first batch of assay results received from the firm's ongoing reconnaissance air core drilling at the Killaloe gold project in Western Australia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
Intercepts encountered during the drilling included 12 meters at 0.5 grams per tonne grade of gold from eight meters, and eight meters at 0.84 g/t grade of gold from 12 meters. A broader reverse circulation and air core drilling program is expected to continue for a further two to three weeks.
The results provide early indicators of significant gold mineralization across the project.
