BlockBeats reported on June 19, citing Cryptonews, that following a cyberattack on Iran's largest cryptocurrency exchange resulting in losses exceeding $90 million, the Central Bank of Iran has ordered all domestic cryptocurrency exchanges to restrict their operating hours.
The new regulations limit trading hours to between 10 AM and 8 PM. This move appears to be a direct response to the hack on Nobitex and aims to enhance monitoring while reducing the chances of future incidents, particularly during non-working hours when cybersecurity response times are slower.
