Boeing has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation with the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Angola. This agreement aims to promote the development of the aviation sector in Angola, in collaboration with TAAG Angola Airlines. The initiative is part of Angola's broader strategy to boost tourism and stimulate economic growth by enhancing operational capabilities and expanding technical and maintenance capacity. The partnership also supports the expansion of TAAG Angola Airlines, positioning it as a leading airline in Africa. Boeing's commitment to the African aviation market is further reinforced, with its aircraft already comprising nearly 70% of the continent's commercial fleet. According to Boeing's 2025 Commercial Market Outlook, Africa is projected to need more than 1,200 new airplanes over the next two decades to meet increasing demand.
