After losing their Malibu, Calif., home to wildfires earlier this year, Paris Hilton and her husband, venture capitalist Carter Reum, have paid about $63 million for Mark Wahlberg's former Los Angeles estate, according to a person familiar with the situation.
The estate, on roughly 6 acres in the ultraexclusive Beverly Park gated community, came on the market for $68 million in March. The seller, a limited liability company, purchased it from Wahlberg and his wife, Rhea Durham, for $55 million in 2023.
The roughly 30,500-square-foot, 12-bedroom home has amenities worthy of a theme park: a sports court, skate park, five-hole golf course with a driving range and a resort-style pool with waterslides. Built around 2014, the main house has a wine-and-cigar cellar and a smoking lounge. The property also includes a guesthouse.
A hotel heiress, entrepreneur and influencer, Hilton was among a number of high-profile residents affected by the L.A. fires. She and Reum had purchased their oceanfront Malibu home for $8.4 million in 2021. "I'm standing here in what used to be our home, and the heartbreak is truly indescribable," Hilton posted on Instagram at the time.
The seller was represented by Ginger Glass and Alexandra Glass of Compass, according to the local multiple listings service. Hilton was represented by her brother Barron N. Hilton of Hilton Hilton.
