BlockBeats News, June 23rd, Bitget officially joined the Sahyog portal under the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center (I4C). It has become one of the few global cryptocurrency exchanges to join this system. Sahyog is an official collaboration interface between Indian law enforcement agencies and digital service providers. This integration means that Bitget will respond to data requests from Indian law enforcement agencies through legal and compliant channels, in accordance with Section 94 of the Indian Code of Criminal Procedure and Section 79(3)(b) of the Information Technology Act.
Bitget's Chief Legal Officer, Hon Ng, stated, "India is a key market in our global strategy. Accessing the Sahyog platform is an important step for Bitget to meet local regulatory requirements and enhance compliance cooperation. We will continue to optimize our compliance system to assist law enforcement agencies in the governance and regulation of the digital asset space."
Against the backdrop of increasingly stringent global regulations, Bitget is actively deepening its compliance layout in major markets. By joining Sahyog, Bitget has not only strengthened its collaboration with Indian regulatory authorities but also demonstrated its long-term commitment to building a transparent and trustworthy cryptocurrency ecosystem.
