Leidos Holdings Inc., a key technology partner with the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA), has secured a significant contract valued at $87 million (€79.1 million). This contract, part of the IT Modernization Recovery Increment 1 Systems Integration, supports NATO's mission to advance secure cloud modernization. The project aims to enhance NATO's IT infrastructure, improving resilience against cyber threats and boosting efficiency and scalability. It involves a multi-national team, including companies from France, Germany, Italy, and the U.K., such as Thales, CGI, Leonardo, LA International, and NEXOR, all of which have a strong track record of supporting NATO's objectives. The initiative will deliver a centralized IT solution based on private cloud technology, integrating core services like service management and cybersecurity, thereby enhancing interoperability and operational efficiency across the NATO command structure. Steve Hull, president of Leidos' digital modernization sector, emphasized the project's role in fostering secure and integrated collaboration across trans-Atlantic defense networks.
