Legacy Iron Ore (ASX:LCY) said that Chief Executive Officer and Director Rakesh Gupta will resign from his positions effective immediately, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Ranajit Das will succeed Gupta as CEO, effective July 1, the filing said.

In the meantime, Chandra Bhushan Verma will serve as interim CEO, the filing added.
