The Canadian retailer only operates 64 stores in the US, well below competitors like Abercrombie & Fitch and Anthropologie, each with over 200 locations spread over a greater number of states, the analysts say. Aritzia's 150 potential real estate opportunities in the US could also grow as new locations become available as other players exit the market, they say. Such opportunities and relatively low penetration levels should help US sales see an estimated 15% compound average annual growth rate over the next five years, boosting the company's long-term growth, they say.(kelly.cloonan@wsj.com)
