The US Federal Trade Commission said Monday it has accepted a consent order to resolve antitrust concerns related to Omnicom Group's (OMC) $13.5 billion acquisition of The Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG). The proposed order imposes restrictions preventing Omnicom from engaging in collusion or coordination to direct advertising away from media publishers based on those publishers' political or ideological viewpoints, the FTC said.

Apple (AAPL) is in last-minute talks with European Commission regulators to avoid a fine over its App Store practices, the Financial Times reported Monday. Apple is expected to offer concessions on its "steering" rules, which currently restrict developers from directing users to alternative offers outside the App Store, the report said, citing people familiar with the matter.
