Oklo Inc., an advanced nuclear technology company, has announced strategic collaborations with Hexium and TerraPower to enhance domestic production of High-Assay Low-Enriched Uranium (HALEU). This initiative aims to leverage Atomic Vapor Laser Isotope Separation (AVLIS) technology, in collaboration with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, to accelerate the development of a scalable U.S. nuclear fuel supply. The partnership seeks to address the critical bottleneck in deploying advanced nuclear reactors by advancing a compact, scalable, and energy-efficient enrichment solution. This effort not only supports U.S. energy security but also aims to bolster leadership in nuclear fuel innovation.
