Rubrik Inc. has announced its agreement to acquire Predibase in a move aimed at accelerating the adoption of agentic AI from pilot phases to full-scale production. The acquisition will allow enterprise AI teams to access generative AI models and a serving layer, enhancing model accuracy while reducing inference time and lowering costs by up to 80%. The integration of Predibase, known for its expertise in model training and serving infrastructure, will expand Rubrik's efforts in securing and deploying GenAI applications alongside partners like Amazon Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, and Google Agentspace. The terms of the transaction remain undisclosed, and it is subject to customary closing conditions. Rubrik's CEO Bipul Sinha highlighted the synergy, stating that the collaboration will provide radical simplicity in models and data, benefiting customers with improved accuracy, lower costs, and enhanced performance.
