Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) said Wednesday its HPE Private Cloud Business Edition was selected by Digital Realty Trust (DLR) to modernize operations across more than 300 data centers worldwide.
The rollout is expected to help Digital Realty meet rising workload and data processing demands while lowering total cost of ownership and improving scalability.
Separately, HPE introduced two new ProLiant Gen12 servers powered by 5th Gen AMD EPYC processors. The servers are optimized for virtualization and edge computing, and offer double the memory of the previous generation, the company said.
HPE also expanded its Compute Ops Management platform with new AI-driven automation features and added support for Morpheus VM Essentials software to simplify multi-hypervisor management.
The new servers are available to order now and will begin shipping in July.
Shares of Hewlett Packard were up 1.5% in recent trading.
