Ridley (ASX:RIC) appointed Chris Opperman as chief financial officer (CFO), effective end of the year, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Opperman will succeed current CFO Richard Betts, who will step back from full-time executive roles, the filing said.

Betts will remain with the company over the next 12 months to support the transition, the filing added.
