CITIC Resources Holdings Limited has issued a profit warning, indicating that the Group expects to record an unaudited consolidated profit attributable to shareholders ranging between HK$119 million and HK$184 million for the six months ending June 30, 2025. This represents a decrease of approximately 48% to 66% compared to the HK$265 million recorded in the same period last year. The decline is primarily attributed to a significant drop in average selling prices of commodities, such as crude oil and coal, in the first five months of 2025, and a substantial reduction in the share of profit from an associate following the Group's cessation of equity interest in Alumina Limited since July 18, 2024.
