1041 GMT - Assicurazioni Generali's operations in Central and Eastern Europe have attractive earnings growth prospects in the property and casualty segment in particular, J.P.Morgan says in a research note. The markets brought in 13% of the Italian insurer's adjusted net result and cash remittances in 2024. "An improvement in underwriting margins in this division should be a key driver of Generali's target to reduce the Group undiscounted combined ratio to 94.5% by 2027" from around 96% last year, the analysts say. Shares trade roughly flat at 30 euros and have risen 10% since the start of the year. (elena.vardon@wsj.com)
