In corporate news, Microsoft (MSFT) is facing delays in the production of its AI chip Braga, with mass production now expected next year, The Information reported. Microsoft shares were easing 0.1%.
Meta (META) has pushed back against EU regulators, accusing them of unfairly targeting its business model and shifting expectations as it tries to comply with the bloc's Digital Markets Act, Reuters reported. Meta shares were adding 0.6%.
Locafy (LCFY) shares surged 209% after it said Friday it has partnered with a major US online reputation platform to deploy its AI-ready digital search services.
Concentrix (CNXC) shares fell 4.2% after the company reported fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings per share that missed analysts' expectations.
